People's Choice category
For our People's Choice award, you are the judge. During each seasonal heat, you can vote for your favourite photos on this website and you’ll be entered into a draw for a WWT membership!
After each seasonal heat closes, the photograph receiving the most public votes from each of WWT's nine wetland wildlife centres will win the People's Choice seasonal heat. Winners from each of the four seasonal heats from each WWT centre will go through to the national finals to be held in autumn 2012.
The national winner of the People's Choice category will win a week's narrowboat holiday for four to the value of £1000 (no cash alternative), courtesy of Kate Boats. In addition, winner will also receive a subscription to Bird Watching Magazine, courtesy of Bird Watching Magazine.
A week on a narrowboat cruising the UK canals lets you get away from the hectic pace of modern life, without leaving the 'mod cons' behind. This boating experience allows you to become part of the countryside and enjoy the many opportunities for wildlife and countryside photography.
All regional/seasonal winners will win a photography course held by nature photography experts Wild Arena.
